How matching works
A free service that reads what you want from your wedding or party and passes your enquiry to one independent Birmingham DJ who fits. Here's exactly how it works, and who's behind it.
The three steps
- You tell us about your event. The occasion, date, venue, guest numbers, your music, the vibe, how much lighting, sound, the look of the setup and announcements matter, any extras, and your budget.
- We pick one DJ. We read your answers and choose the local DJ who fits best. Your enquiry goes to that DJ only, never to a list.
- They get in touch. Your DJ contacts you directly with availability and a quote, usually within 24 hours. You agree everything with them, and you decide whether to book.
If the DJ we choose can’t do your date, or doesn’t reply in time, we tell you and ask before passing your enquiry to anyone else.
Who runs this site
DJ Hire Birmingham is run by DJ Match Network. We are not a DJ company and we don’t employ DJs. The DJs we match you with are independent local businesses. You book and pay them directly, and your contract is with them.
The service is free for people planning events, and there’s currently no charge to DJs either. We don’t take payments, deposits or commission on your booking.
How DJs join
DJs join the matching pool by applying through our For DJs page. Before we pass any enquiry to a DJ, we check that they:
- are based in or regularly work in and around Birmingham
- hold public liability insurance and use PAT-tested equipment
- agree to contact enquirers promptly and honestly
We don’t publish reviews or star ratings on this site. Ask your DJ for reviews you can check, such as on their Google Business Profile.
Your details
We only pass your details to the one DJ we match you with, and only because you’ve asked us to. Our privacy notice explains what we keep and for how long.
