Privacy notice

What we collect when you use the matching form, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights.

Who we are

DJ Hire Birmingham is run by DJ Match Network. If you have any questions about your information, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you use the matching form, we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the occasion, date or dates, venue or town, guest numbers, times, your music and preferences, extras, budget band and any notes.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details to do what you asked: choose one suitable local DJ and pass your enquiry to them so they can contact you with availability and a quote. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

  • One DJ. We pass your enquiry to the single independent DJ we match you with. If that DJ can’t help, we ask you before passing it to another.
  • Our service providers, who handle it only on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting and our enquiry log), Resend (sending emails) and Google Workspace (our email inbox).

We never sell your details, and we don’t use them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months so we can follow up and check the service is working, and then delete them. The DJ you are matched with keeps your details under their own privacy policy once they contact you.

Cookies and statistics

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t run analytics that follow you around the web.

The matching form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person, not a spam bot, is sending it. Turnstile processes basic technical information about your browser and device for that check only. Cloudflare also hosts the site and keeps standard security logs.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us at the address above. If you’re not happy with our reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
